Should you be taking the elevator?

The dorms I lived in were all kind of odd about this. Because the main doors to my sophomore-junior year dorms opened onto the 5th floor of an 8 floor building (and was especially irritating because you had to go up or down a flight of stairs to actually get to the damn elevator). In my senior year, the main doors to the door opened up to the bridge floor, which was the top floor of the building (and technically the 9th floor). There were two normal every-floor elevators, and an express elevator to the 1st floor.
